“Even when a river of tears courses through this body, the flame of love cannot be quenched.” ~ Izumi Shikibu
This piece is dedicated to all those going through hard times. Also, this is dedicated to the BellLetsTalk campaign which raises awareness of the importance of mental health. A lot of people have lost their jobs, having problems with family or loved ones, going through a loss, or wherever the wound hurts. You are not alone and never be afraid to reach out for support.
A cry for help is like petals falling to the ground. Fatigue and slowly losing life. The wind blows these petals to unknown directions. A gradual loss of perception. Silence has never been so loud. Aching bodies. Loud surrender to things beyond control. Veins constrict as anxiety rules the mind. And the spirit is governed by unrest. Tears of blood, pain unlimited. A counsel of reminders to retell stories of how failures is a destination. Voices that recollect shallow investments. Reaping dark sorrows. Drought of promises. Blank letter.
Let me heal, let it heal, let it phase out of me. Diminish from my presence, quench the tears, brethren hold me, remind me of my light. Remind me there is still light.
