“I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. Delicious Ambiguity.” ~ Gilda Radner
This is an excerpt that tries to exemplify the theme of “the moments of passion”. This theme discusses the intimacy between gestures and sounds.

I sit down, perplexed at this invitation to soar between these blank pages. Each day, I begin my story with “once upon a time”. I am not aware, neither am I knowledgeable of the words that are the tip of my tongue. The ending of each day acts as the opening scene, the gemstone for the next. I am alarmed and saddened by the events that I can’t write about. The uncertainty clouds my mind. I only can write on the characters, but the story is only a glimpse of my interaction. I hold my pen lightly, I have been pressured to write perfect tales. But I didn’t plan for conflict. I never perceived it to be possible. I never planned for cold long nights. I never saw myself clashing with my past. I didn’t think of sorrow, I had no expectation for deceit. My pen lays firmly between my fingers, I am shivering in fear because I can’t see beyond now. Maybe I will begin my story as: “once upon a time, there was a girl that had a perception of the world, till she experienced…”. I’ll leave the dots. I’ll let my actions complete my words. For tomorrow might be a fairy tale.
