In lieu of my birthday, I had a chance to rest, reflect, and regroup myself.
The first thing I would like to say: is thank you! To all those that have subscribed, commented, and shared my content in their space. Writing is a place that has welcomed creativity, inspiration, and education.
1. Be grateful
Clocking another year means you are alive. Being among the living means, there is still a purpose, a meaningful way you can contribute to your society regardless of your age, and how small the task is.
The busy routine is known for keeping us in this endless cycle without a chance to step back, reassess the activities that we are involved in and make decisions on moving forward.
With time, you gain some, you lose some. I have accepted that we do not own people; we experience them. So cherish the time that you spend with the individuals in your life.
Value time over money. The only thing we are certain about is this moment; you don’t know tomorrow.
Keep on learning. Challenge your thinking and habits. Show up everyday looking for what you can learn. Find out what you can do better.
You have only one vessel, so take good care of it. Choose what goes into your mouth wisely, stay active, and practice self-care.
Rest should be part of your routine. Guiltless rest. Shutdown, unplug and take a walk.
Take a deep breath. Inhale. Exhale. Let the beauty around you remind you of your greatness.
