The Swank Wedding Show

The Swank Wedding Show hit a milestone by celebrating their 10th edition in Vancouver. Hosted by The Soirée Company at The Westin Bayshore on February 28, 2026, this event showcased elegance, storytelling, and creativity. It was a combination of luxe vibes, high fashion, and an unforgettable GroomShow experience. Most bridal shows cater to brides, but on this occasion, grooms were not overlooked. This show also incorporated wedding vendors that helped attendees create their dream wedding. The elevated décor transformed the venue into a wedding party, with floral arrangements, a centre runway for the fashion show, and a rich variety of wedding vendors. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as wedding enthusiasts, couples, and families mingled for fresh ideas. Attendees also got the chance to enjoy door prizes and swag bags.

Klaudia Jania, Swank Wedding Show Event Coordinator, talked about the inspiration behind Swank Wedding Show: “To bring industry people together and create an elegant space that feels luxurious for every couple to walk into.” This show was brought to life so that couples can find a dream team and create their unique vision. A team that could work together and collaborate for that special wedding day. Klaudia would also like to collaborate with more people who have the same vision for an elegant wedding experience.

Founder of Ethereal Bridal Boutique, Elena Kawa, specializes in European design gowns exclusive to their store. The great thing about booking an appointment with them is the option for a private consultation. Their shop is set in Port Moody, BC. When asked about what participating in the Swank Wedding Show meant, Elena replied, “We wanted to be part of this experience to help brides find their dream wedding gowns.”

Model, Michael Veerman, enjoyed his time at the show, collaborating with designers and showcasing brands and high-quality fabrics. Michael shared his advice to new models, “Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there on both runway and photoshoots. Keep on doing it, and from there, you will build confidence along the way.” Michael’s inspiration as a model is to broaden his horizon and step outside his comfort zone. He is happy to meet new people in different industries.

Attendee, Dahmar Prieto, attended the show in support of her friend on the runway. She found it fascinating to see the fashion show, the dresses, and the glamour on everyone. The show was an inspiration to get married and fall in love.

Makeup and hair were provided by Yes!Mona Beauty Team. Some local artists also captivated the audience. The hallway was filled with echoes of soft tunes by the Pianist, Georgy Manterola. Bonita McMahon took to the stage and shared a demo of the first dance for couples. Yoosik Ethan Oum brought an illusion that left the audience questioning their reality in his magic show. DJ High Voltage set the tone for the event with great rhythm and vibes. Lastly, there was a dancing bear by The Phonix Band with top-notch musicality.
